Innovate to solve the worlds most important challengesHoneywells Field Service Technicians are responsible for effectively providing services to support the on-site installation, start-up, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems & advanced manufacturing software applications, drive systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual products which comprise these systems. You will focus on providing customers with maintenance and modernization services on Honeywells QCS Platforms. The role requires you to be self-supporting and includes on-site maintenance, performing system diagnostics & analysis, troubleshooting problems, installing new systems & replacing parts.
18-month Honeywell Training & Certification Program:
•Commitment of 18 months to obtain and maintain L3 CEAT certification while performing normal job duties.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Honeywells suite of (QCS) quality control hardware and software and handle customer questions about the state of the system.
- Sustain proficiency in all products and services that the company offers. This includes staying current with installation standard methodologies, equipment protocol, and safety guidelines.
- Provide on-site pre-start-up, start-up, contracted service work, warranty, troubleshooting, and training of Honeywell products, and ensure equipment is operational and free of defects.
- Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility and/or project staging area. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasks
- Handle customer service-related issues while fostering the customer relationship and working to solve technical problems on site.
- Deal directly with and communicate effectively with plant operators, plant management, 3rd party vendors and other Honeywell personnel in support of service operations
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment applying own technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems.
- Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility and/or project staging area. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasks
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of professional experience in electronics, electrician experience or Military experience in an electronics program.
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and stand 8 hours per day.
- 1 year of experience using Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
- Be able to perform frequent climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
