WHO WE ARE
The person hired for this role will be an important member of a small/lean engineering team who is responsible for the planning, integration and execution of activities to support events, experiments and demonstrations at the LM Center for Innovation (CFI). Specifically, this role will assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware/software, including operation and maintenance of simulation, audio/video and core infrastructure systems in a customer collaboration environment.
THE WORK
On a day to day basis this role entails:
-Working closely with other members of the Tech-Ops team to achieve CFI stakeholder objectives.
-Implementing and supporting Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed.
-Working successfully in an environment requiring interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
-Using sound technical knowledge and skills along with established processes/tools to solve complex problems.
WHO YOU ARE
The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience in hardware, software and audio/visual set-up.
-Experience supporting infrastructure installation, maintenance and repair in a customer-focused lab environments.
-Must be detail-oriented and results-focused with strong communication skills.
-Have the ability to work and interact in an environment requiring cooperation and coordination with multiple customers and business areas.
Basic Qualifications:
•Must have experience in hardware, software and audio/visual set-up, support infrastructure installation, maintenance and repair in a customer-focused lab environment.
•Have the ability to read, write and interpret technical, systems and schematic drawings/documentation.
•Additionally, experience with Linux and Microsoft systems/products is required.
•Must have demonstrated skills in conducting technical analysis of product or system implementations, modifications and enhancements.
•Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
•Proven hardware and software support experience in fast-paced/reconfigurable lab environment.
•Network configuration and troubleshooting experience.
•Experience with complex A/V systems/environments.
•Demonstrated experience with simulation systems/training devices.
•Experience working in classified/access controlled facilities.
•Ability to brief/teach technical information to internal and external audiences.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
