To support the department “Slovakia Office”, Airbus Secure Land Communications is looking for a

Field Support Engineer (m/f/d)

in Bratislava in full-time.

Benefits:

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the technical progress of the system support according to the contract
  • Assistance that tools and processes are implemented
  • Assistance to manage the customer claims database
  • Supporting the following up of claims: correction, validation and delivery
  • Support of validating the technical responses to the customer
  • Developing summaries, internal and external reports regularly Participating to the technical preparation of the Roll Out operations
  • Participating to the technical preparation of the Roll Out operations Establishing and monitoring the procedures related to tests for
    commissioning, integration and operation on start-up and the introduction of operational procedures
  • Support for giving feedback information related to difficulties in implementing procedures and proposing solutions
  • Assistance for controlling and monitoring the functional compatibility of the different sub-assemblies
  • Monitoring the hardware and software technical state of the equipment to be installed
  • Support in managing the installation and archiving of the software installed on-site
  • Contributing to the evolution of Roll Out, documentation referential in the process gate and integration
  • Contributing to commissioning & integration operations & IP migration
  • Supporting the solutions proposed:
    • Raising cases to level 3 support if necessary
    • Drafting or customizing technical bulletins
    • Planning the corrections introduction
    • Participating in the training required for the customer or the local team
  • Following up the Technical Support operations
  • Participating to the hotline 24/7 Initializing, coordinating and supporting the migration and upgrade activities
  • Drafting and respecting the protocol documents which apply to On-Site Assessment & Training (OSAT)
  • Contributing to the scheduling of the Equipment installation with the subcontractor
  • Contributing to the technical assistance to installation technicians and sub-contractors
  • Carrying out integration tests for new equipment or FAT/System acceptance with customer
  • Transferring network monitoring to customer support during commissioning or run in of the system
  • Supporting the developing of corrective plans in the case of non-conformities
  • Taking into account the customer’s system from a technical point of view
  • Bringing technical assistance if necessary: deploying new products, releases, extensions
  • Contributing to monthly reviews for prioritization and customer&39;s main issues
  • Supporting of the guarantying of the validation of platform steps before roll out on field

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Position suitable for graduate if first experience in integration of TETRA telecommunication systems gained, also welcome
  • Required field of education: Telecommunications Engineer
  • Slovak native speaker and good knowledge of English language
  • Strong internal and external interpersonal skills
  • Mobility (travel frequently, mainly in Slovakia)
  • Driving Licence B, active driver
  • Able to handle changing and often tense contexts
  • Availability
  • Methodical and autonomous personality
  • Close attention to detail
  • Already gained experience in on-site operations, welcome but not mandatory
