Flight Sciences Engineer I (Full Time)

Essential Job Functions

Contribute to flight test plans related to aircraft flying qualities and performance

Analyze flight test data to reduce and expand aircraft performance information for the Pilots Operating Handbook

Address flight sciences irregularities resulting from production or experimental flight testing

Become adept at Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling

Participate in wind tunnel testing to include model definition, instrumentation requirements, and data analysis

Participate in trade studies, initial sizing, lofting, and competitor analysis in support of new product development projects

Support accident investigations when requested following an incident or accident

Other related tasks as assigned

Required Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering (or closely related field)

Preferred Education and Experience

Graduate degree(s) in engineering (or closely related field)

Python coding language fluency

Luminary Cloud CFD Software proficiency

Pilots certificate(s)/rating(s)
