Job Description SummaryThe Gearbox (ADT - accessory drive train) PSE leader will work to ensure the continuous operation of our products, assure airworthiness and safety and track fleet reliability. She/He will own and maintain the ICA documents for respective hardwares (ATA’s), including responding to technical inquiries, author Service Bulletins and support customer technical communication. Will participate in field investigations and provide inputs and guidance on field problem resolutions for corrective action implementation.
The PSE role is the voice of the customer in GE internal meetings by collecting field data (leading indicator) to demonstrate how the design is meeting (or not meeting) the technical/durability requirements. The PSE also translates the internal GE to an external communication that is clear and transparent, keeping the customer at the forefront and ensuring they have the most relevant information to keep their fleet safe and operational.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Support fielded engines lines to ensure continuous operation of our products, with main focus on reliability monitoring, fleet issues and field investigation and root cause analysis.
Work within a module team (global PSE, repair, design) to work collaboratively and provide guidance on field problem resolutions, corrective action implementation, and produce results for our customers. provide inputs and
Own and maintain content of Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) for relevant modules, including technical manuals definition, author Service Bulletins and customer technical communication.
Manage competing priorities (AOG, Salesforce inquiries, operator updates, repair development, etc.) and remove obstacles to meet customer needs.
Report to leadership on execution of fleet management milestones.
Customers and MRO shops technical support, with definition of recommendation and disposition for serviceability of fielded components.
Analyze fleet data and flight data analytics to look for leading indicators.
Act as technical interface with Airlines/MRO shops to build mutually beneficial relationships through teleconferences and the annual face-to-face sessions (WTT, MSG3, …).
Qualifications/Requirements
Masters Degree in Engineering or other “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from an accredited university.
Experience in engineering position in aerospace industry.
Basic experience with mechanical design/analysis
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of aero-engines architectures and applications.
Able to prioritize work, plan milestones and communicate effectively to external customers and auditors.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English, both written and oral.
Work Visa, according with local regulation, is required.
Desired Characteristics
Proven experience in fleet management field issues resolution.
Proven experience of processes related to instructions for continued airworthiness.
Knowledge of aeronautical Certification rules, ie EASA Part 21 and Part 145.
Experience in developing and delivering customer centric solutions.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
