As Gears Manufacturing Engineer, On-site Korea – Surion you will be responsible for all the technical gears support activities needed to industrialize helicopter program components realized by the customer and customer partners facilities and to facilitate communication with Headquarter. You will be located at the customers premises in South Korea for an extended period of time.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Support customer during concurrent engineering activities with the design engineers
Facilitate the information exchanges between Customer/Partners and Headquarter
Guide the Buyer and KIPs engineers and technicians in fully comprehending the drawings, the substantiation requirements, the design intent and in developing the Buyer and KIP’s workshare manufacturing process
Help in definition of macro sequence, tooling and equipment during industrialization phases
Suggest solutions, and others as applicable
Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s degree in mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or High School Technical Diploma with relevant work experience
Good knowledge of gears manufacturing processes and tooling/fixture definition
Expertise in metrology principles applied to geometrical tolerances
Experience in similar roles
Knowledge of aerospace substantiation requirements
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
Ability to manage activities simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
Availability to travel as needed to support the Business
Italian fluent and fluent English level
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Significant experience in manufacturing of Helicopter Gears
