The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the industrialization activities of the assigned product or manufacturing processes improvement. You will take full responsibility of the assigned hardware, developing the manufacturing plan to achieve the required targets in terms of process feasibility and robustness, product quality, product cost and capacity sustainment.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Support concurrent engineering activities with the design engineers and/or with the customer
Define tooling/router design effort between external suppliers and Avio Aero Manufacturing Engineering
Drive suppliers of tooling during all steps from the concept to the functional test and related validation
Manage design and process reviews, to monitor the status of industrialization/ improvement plan for the assigned P/N
Support operating personnel during the production of the first batch
Identify processes optimization to be implemented
Support Customer Quality Engineering for the anomaly report submitted to Customer and sustain Customer review of the proposed improvement plan
Develop and consolidate best practices and standards for manufacturing
Qualification/Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or High School Technical Diploma with strong and significant work experience in Manufacturing Engineering roles
Experience in a Manufacturing/Quality/Design role
Basics of metrology principles applied to geometrical tolerances
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
Ability to manage activities simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
Previous experience of work in a matrix organization
Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
