Grounds Test Engineer

Candidate will work hand-in-hand with CT based Ground Test Engineering group to ensure that thorough understanding of existing as well as newly developed ATPs are in place to allow the candidate to take ownership of the final demonstration and release of all ATPs needed to support flight test operations. 

Organized, hand-on, self motivated candidate with experience with aircraft hardware is required.  Also, close coordination between Ground Test and Flight Test will be needed to ensure all required on-aircraft inspections and operating limitations are accurately documented, coordinated, and executed to minimize impact to flight test programs. Knowledge of all aspects of Ground Testing of helicopter components and systems as well as application of Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering disciplines to a wide variety of technical problems is required.  Candidate will also be asked to work with Stratford based Ground Test leads in support of supplier component qualification efforts for multiple programs.
