As Head of Engineering, youll lead our engineering operations to ensure the airworthiness, safety, and efficiency of our growing fleet, consisting of A32F, A320neo and A330 aircrafts. Drive innovation, streamline processes, and foster a safety-first culture while leading a team of ~ 35-40 experts.
Your Mission:
- Ensure that all aircraft and systems meet airworthiness requirements, maintaining the highest safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee performance data and reliability trends to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Drive modernization and technical improvements by existing practices and recommending strategic enhancements to standards and processes.
- Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers and the Lufthansa Group to uphold operational and technical excellence.
- Inspire and develop your team to achieve technical and strategic goals.
What You Bring:
- Master’s in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in aviation, with 5+ years in leadership.
- Expertise in EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch/French is a plus
