In the role of Industrialization Engineer, youll play a pivotal part on our Industrialization team.
This position contributes to our vision by:
- Leading team members, provide solutions for Safran WWS industrialization deliverables on new programs / projects as part of the integrated program team
- Develop and execute Industrialization plans, Transfer of Work projects, site projects in accordance with standards and program goals
- Coordinate and support production processes as required, new production lines and associated layouts, phased factory layout improvements, operator training plans.
- Ensure execution of the plan for design, manufacture, and implementation of new tools or prototypes from the tooling engineering teams.
- Create, update, and improve the production element of the industrial dossier, mainly Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, Standardized work instructions (including Takt times and lead times)
- Provide technical contribution to the Design and Manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processes.
- Analyze and manage industrial processes and product risks of the projects
- Provide feedback to the Design group for DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly) and propose alternative designs.
- Maintain industrialization metrics and communicate performance on a regular basis
- Integrate Lean Six Sigma principles into your work
- Know, understand, and accurately apply regulatory requirements, customer specifications and company specifications
- Apply advanced concepts relating to manufacturability to engineering drawing and models
-The role of the Industrialization Engineer is the project management of Safran WWS industrialization deliverables on new programs, Transfer of Work projects, and internal projects as part of the integrated program team
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Education:
BS in Industrial, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years, experience in the Aerospace, Automotive industries; experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience:
Electro-mechanical system fabrication and/or assembly.
Experience with airworthiness regulations.
Knowledge of assembly lines with complex assemblies and /or processes.
Lean Six Sigma Accreditation, Green Belt or Black Belt.
Program Management Professional (PMP) certified.
Computer Skills:
• Fluent with ERP systems
• Working knowledge of CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CAD applications
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
Specialized knowledge:
• Collaboration – Establishes collaborative relationships to achieve objectives

• Experience in industrialization and/or manufacturing engineering

Other Skills:
Proven troubleshooting in primary processes (mechanical assembly, CNC machining, layup, bonding, electronics assembly.)
Track record of deployment of assembly lines with complex assemblies.
Knowledge of common materials and manufacturing processes used in the aerospace industry.
Experience with LEAN tools (e.g. Valve Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, pull systems, standardized work.)
Strong problem-solving skills.
