Lead Engineer - Operatioins & Lean Focal

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process tracking, metrics tracking. Responsible for headcount, finance, workload and various other data collections that are used for ultimate decision making.
• Support section needs around Spotfire, Clarity, MyTime, MR issue and tracking (Oracle), property management.
• Utilizes Lean principles knowledge, analytical thinking and technical experience to identify policy and productivity gaps, drives improvement policy/strategy preparation and execution.
• Implement Lean principles into daily work and problem solving. Ensure proper team KPI monitoring and action plans tracking, Align with broader Lean community on adoption of Lean concepts.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
• Implement plans with guidance to meet project goals;
• Communicate with partners on project status, escalating issues and proposing solutions to meet customer deliverables;

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, or related disciplines;
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
• Uses judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address engineering processes with technical variety and/or interdependent cycles.
• Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
