Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Lead Manufacturing Engineer (Machining), you will:
- Prior experience with machining (broaching, milling, turning, EDM, grinding, etc.) of high temperature alloys
- Act as a leader on specific tasks that require a broad experience base
- Identify plans to ensure technical requirements, costs, and schedules are met
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs
- Create and issue detailed work instructions (router)
- Interface with external organizations and supporting functions, to direct/coordinate the efforts needed to meet Customer expectations
- Facilitate interaction with Customers and Machinists as needed to clarify Customer needs
- Collaborate with management in setting realistic and challenge goals
- Assist the Senior Manufacturing Engineer and/or Manager in planning work activity for the organization
- Self-motivated to get the solution with reasonable amount of time and financial support
- Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organization
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing ) + Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance

- Prior experience with cutting tools
- Equipment maintenance familiarity
- CNC turning and/or milling programming experience
- CAD / CAM expertise – Unigraphics preferred
- Working knowledge of CLM (probing, tool-setting, machining environments)
