- Typically 6+ years of supervisory experience in Methods Engineering
- Typically 7+ years of experience in Methods Engineering
- Thorough knowledge regarding process improvement/re-engineering methodology and application (e.g., Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing Principles)
- Thorough knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, specifications, standards, and manuals
- Thorough knowledge of production scheduling and quality guidelines
- Thorough knowledge of operational processes, systems, tools, and workflow for assigned area
- Thorough knowledge of point-of-contacts for support functions of the assigned areas, including but not limited to, Human Resources, Payroll, Purchasing, Facilities, and Travel
- Thorough knowledge of employment rules and regulations as they apply to employee hiring, discipline, performance appraisal, personal information, and termination
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements and meet financial objectives for assigned areas and programs
