The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Multi program planning, scheduling, and coordination of project shipment and transportation operations

Attend program meetings and represent the Traffic, Shipping, and Transportation organizations

Generate, coordinate, execute project shipment and transport documentation

Build Sr level leadership presentations

Provide Sr leadership level status of project shipment and transportation operations

Develop hazardous documentation and certify shipments via all major modes
49 CFR, IATA/ICAO, AFMAN
Work with program engineering on identifying required hazardous exemptions

Administrate west coast near term shipment schedule for all Space programs

Interface with subject matter experts on developing project procedures for loading, shipment and transport operations
Basic Qualifications:
Industry experience with traffic and shipping related practices and standards

Ability to collaborate with commercial and government programs and develop risk reduced solutions to meet strict and demanding transportation requirements

Experience in the development and execution of project schedules for multi organizational efforts

Familiar with the identification of items which would be applicable to hazardous material regulations for air and ground transport

Experience in developing leadership level presentations

Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and customer teams

Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends and the ability to provide direction to Bargaining Unit employees as required

Willing to travel for project operations

Possess, or be able to obtain, a DOD and SCI security clearance from the United States Government
Desired Skills:
Government shipping documentation and property experience (DD1149s/DD250s)

Experience in the utilization of specialized truckload solutions and equipment

Over dimensional permitting transportation experience

Military aircraft and flight line experience

Certified in 49CFR, IATA, AFMAN

Experience in clean room environment conditions and practices

Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to customer teams

Strong professional and interpersonal skills
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
