The MBSE System Engineer & Architect is a technical lead for Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) on a given program or project. The candidate functions as a technical specialist using systems engineering and MBSE methods for solving advanced conceptual to detailed system and software designs for simulators. An expectation is to lead through example and mentoring in the MBSE tools and methods as they apply to System Life Cycle (SLC) efforts. This position helps to define and coordinate digital engineering (partly through MBSE) internally and externally to engineering providing a unified modeling paradigm for the business.

Define u201Chowu201D the training system, using MBSE concepts, can be structured to best comply with the Customer Requirements, including the extent of re-use of existing components and equipment.
Analyze the system to ensure that it will meet the stated performance requirements (e.g. flight performance, stability, weight, power, timing, human factors, throughput, etc.).
Qualifications and Education Requirementsu202F
BS in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering
Experience applying systems engineering on medium, large, complex programs, requirements analysis/management, interface management, system architecture development/design, integration/verification/validation planning and execution

Technical Lifecycle - Development, Design, Procurement, Implementation, Testing, Acceptance, and Customer Signoff at a systems and subsystem level for both Hardware and Software
Experience with one of the following: Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, or Capella
Networking, PC architecture, Network Protocols (OSI, TCP, UDP, etc.), Interoperation, distributed SW
