Salary: based on experience.
Relocation bonus: Up to $ 5000 from Expleo, and $ 5000 match from InTulsa (need to show proof of living in Tulsa, rent for 1 year or more).
Retention bonus: $ 2500 after 1 year.
* Experience that will put you ahead as a candidate:
- Past or present Boeing MRB Signing Authority is preferred.
- Structure/design engineer experience with Boeing commercial products.
Office based in Tulsa Oklahoma
Responsibilities:
- Carry out design analysis and creating design dispositions for detail part and assembly non-conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form and function
- Ability to identify the most efficient methods for analysis while ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements
- Able to liaise with multiple functions/suppliers (e.g., Design/Stress approvers) to ensure most appropriate design solution is met with consideration to cost, time, performance and installation requirements
- Customer facing
- Ability to explain and escalate critical issues and an ability to mentor others
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural etc.)
- Experience working on Boeing products and structures preferred, either directly or within the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and ideally having held a level of delegated technical approval
- Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance, preferably with both metallic and composite capabilities
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification
- Previous Design Organization Approval (DOA) would be advantageous for the role
- TIPQA or MES an advantage
