JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
DUTIES:
Responsible for Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600 final assembly line technical support and integration. Support new developments and modifications including supplying technical information about system installations and test procedures for Fuel and Propulsion, Environmental Control System, Oxygen, Flight Control System and Major Installations. Resolve complex aircraft engineering issues by collecting and analyzing information from the production process; reviewing drawings, schematics, and diagrams; evaluating installations, components, materials and suppliers; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; analyzing root causes; resolving design integration issues; addressing actions solving line constraints; and developing specification and safety standard. Liaise to coordinate and balance Manufacturing Engineer Team activities internally. Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment and practices using Lean Manufacturing techniques. Ensure compliance with applicable specifications and regulations. Provide training to production technicians on Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600 for Fuel and Propulsion, Environmental Control System, and Oxygen for Embraer Executive jets (Phenom 100/300 and Praetor 500/600).
REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or related technical field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupations required. Experience must include: 1) Aircraft ECS, Fuel and Propulsion, and Oxygen Systems Development for Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Praetor 500 and Praetor 600, 2) Praetor 600 Auxiliary Tanks Pressurization System, 3) Lean Manufacturing Tools, 4) First Article Inspection, 5) Chronoanalyse and MTM (Method Time Measurement), 6) Catia, 7) Geometric Dimension & Tolerances, 8) Configuration Control Board, 9) SAP, and 10) MES System.
HOURS: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM / 40 hours/week
