In the role of Manufacturing Engineer III youll play a pivotal part in problem resolution. Youll have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert in using Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products. This position contributes to our vision by:
tMay serve as primary interface with external customers;
tAnalyzes changes in customer specs in order to flow them down to manufacturing;
tInterfaces with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to meet business unit goals;
tSupports standardization initiatives across business units;
tCoordinates with engineering team to implement company engineering strategies;
tDefines material sorting and grouping to match the process sequence and aid manufacturing;
tDocuments sorting to match the process sequence;

Job Requirements:

At Safran Electrical & Power, we seek service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, adaptable to our innovative and evolving environment.

•\tRequires Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-8 years experience in manufacturing and/or quality processes. Prefer Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma methods training.Knowledge/Skills
•\tRequires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint) - Expert
•\tBlueprint and schematics reading - Expert
•\tProblem Solving, root cause analysis and corrective action - Expert
•\tAbility to design layouts and fixtures to aid manufacturing (AutoCAD) - Advanced
