A permanent job opportunity has arisen for a &34;Mechanical Systems Integration & Design Engineer&34; within Airbus Defence & Space to be based on Getafe
site in Spain. The successful candidate will join the TADAM-TL2 department at the Combat area and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team, covering
the integration of EuroMALE mechanical systems as well as other military platforms (Eurofighter, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)...)
The Mechanical System Installation team stands for Quality & Improvement related to Fuel, Hydraulic, Environmental Control System, Equipment integration on aircraft among others.

The main activities of a Mechanical System integration & Design Engineer are related with delivering technical solutions in support of buildind, test and
delivery aircraft:
Mechanical Systems definition from System Architecture
Mechanical Components Specification for purchasing
Mechanical Parts Documentation for Manufacturing
Mechanical Systems Installation Documentation for assembling
Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test report and Project follow-up
meetings.

Desired Competences & Skills
Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools, as well as the usual back office tools (Office...)
Knowledge of aircraft systems & structures design
Knowledge and/or experience in work linked to Aeronautical military projects.
Professional experience as Engineer / Designer on Fluid Systems Installations (hydraulic, fuel, pneumatics, etc) and Equipment installations (sensor &
antennas, lights and cameras, cockpit installations, etc.)
