KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Microwave LOS link design/operation experience, link budgets, COTS availability
UNIX and Windows system administration experience
Low level debug experience, Windows and UNIX Kernel knowledge
Hands on field experience required with military electronics
Self-starter, individual contributor, and a team leader
Electronic Warfare equipment training procedures and practices knowledge
Point to Point microwave operations with packet routing technologies experience
Ability to perform duties on and off military installations, both inside and outside with diverse terrain, climates, and varying infrastructure support.
Ability to support travel around the Pacific to Korea, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Guam, Thailand, and Canada (anticipate 3 to 5 trips per year).
Presentation and ability to give presentation to large audience.
Ability to support other shop duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of an Engineering Degree (EE Preferred) with 5+ years of work experience on electronics systems, remote communication, or radar systems with wideband communications systems or equivalent work experience
Performing work in the job’s occupational field requires the application of complex, technical professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive and applied use of related concepts, practices, and methods
Network Expertise including design and troubleshooting; 5 years of practical network experience desired. Experience with multicast, routing, VPN, 802.1x, and security protocols
Certifications: CISSP, Scanners, CCNP from Cisco or Juniper equivalent
Data Processing, Data Center Experience, Informing Others, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Independence, Productivity, Confidentiality, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Problem Solving, Computers
Air Force Range Support, Electronic Warfare equipment and Military training and weapons range electronic infrastructure experience
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a DoD background check, pass drug test and obtain SECRET security clearance with TS clearance eligibility
