We are looking for Network Solution Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Areas of impact:  Networks and Security

Responsibilities:

• Supports higher level activities (requirements analysis, design, integration, verification and validation) to ensure feasibility and efficiency of the overall development.
• Combines analytical and design skills with the appropriate knowledge of software and hardware technology to define, design, generate, test, implement and modify IT systems.
• Selects feasible and efficient Communication components / elements (i.e. COTS) in line with system requirements as well as constraints.
• Integrates Communication components elements to meet lower-level architecture.
• Verifies Communication components elements and prepares these for upper-level integration.
• Generates acceptance test requirements which ensure that the requirements have been met.
• Troubleshoot Network related issues
• Travel outside the country (Munchen/Germany) will be required (up to 50 of time)

Requirements:

• 5&43; years working experience with Network Infrastructure and Network Security related technologies 
• Minimum Cisco CCNA certification or a comparable certification from other manufacturers
• Cisco CCNP certification is a plus
• Good understanding of Network Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Familiar with BSI specifications for securing networks
• Design and implementation of security-relevant networks
• Familiar with service provider technologies (e.g VPLS, EVPN)
• Familiar with Network Security technologies and products (Firewalls, VPNs, UTM, Encryption)
• Familiar with  AWS Network Cloud Engineering
• Basic knowledge on Network Automation Technologies (E.g . Scripting using Python or Ansible)
