Responsibilities:
The Mopar Component Pilot will lead the Design, Development, and Release of current and new engine components (Lighting, Starters, Alternators, Fuel pump) and Powertrain modules (exhaust line, air intake, fuel system,…)to help service Stellantis vehicle customers. Initial design and feasibility studies with Vehicle Integration, and Product Design Office.
Create Source Packages and technical documents for PWT components and modules (exhaust line, fuel system, air intake,..).
Support Mopar Purchasing to review technical submissions from suppliers and select a supplier.
Support component supplier development activities as needed.
Lead vehicle test and validation based on vehicle and component/module DVP validation
Host weekly engineering development meetings with supplier and Mopar team members
Help with supplier changes and deviations for past model PWT components/modules.
Manage and track releasing and changes of PWT and components/modules.
Knowledge of PWT and associated components (Lighting, Starters, Alternators, Fuel pumps and modules…)
Requirements :
- MS/BS Degree in Engineering
- Experience of design of powertrain modules (Exhaust lines, air intakes, PWT cooling, fuel system, etc.)
- Experience or knowledge of design of engine components (Lighting, Starters, Alternators, Fuel pumps,…)
- Experience in automotive product development : Test Planning, Test requirement specification design, …
- Good understanding of the powertrain modules and associated requirements.
- Good communication skills.
- Supplier management.
- Relevant experience of 5 to 10 years.

- Experience on engine dev and design.
