These cover a very wide range from state-of-the-art mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. Must-haves:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other related discipline and typically 17 or more years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Advanced experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Thorough understanding of SAWE RP7 and prior experience authoring SAWE RP8 reports
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Up to 50 travel to Wichita, KS required for the position.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Familiarity with wind tunnel and aircraft flight test.
- Exposure to aircraft stability principles and control system design and analysis
- Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, and fundamentals of flight mechanics
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
