Program Protection Platform Engineer- C5ISR

Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply system security engineering and program protection strategies for major defense acquisition programs.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to assess program security risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Create Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIPs) and provide guidance to customers throughout the PPIP development process.
- Analyze critical program information, mission functions, and components to safeguard advanced technologies.
- Manage C5ISR system requirements, architecture, and design changes to ensure compliance across vehicle systems.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve production, development, and integration challenges using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Develop and review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) artifacts to ensure accuracy and alignment with contract specifications.
- Coordinate with IPTs on threat analysis, interface development, and system requirements decomposition.
- Promote cyber-physical design best practices and tools to build a cybersecurity culture within the engineering organization.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 15).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (equivalent technical certifications considered).
- Clearance: Security Clearance required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in engineering or military projects.
- Experience with military vehicle development, integration, and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of system-level requirements development and management.
- Familiarity with cyber warfare (offensive or defensive) and cyber-physical security requirements.
- Experience with Program Protection Planning (PPP) and developing PPIPs.
- Expertise in troubleshooting electronic hardware and working with line-replaceable units.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in diverse environments (prototype shop, lab, manufacturing, office).
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Must pass the Anthropometric Size Requirement (ASR) test for confined spaces.
