Job Description:

We are looking for a Propulsion System Maintenance Engineer (m/f) for our Aircraft business to join our Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.

As a Propulsion System Maintenance Engineer, you will join a team in charge of maintenance manuals, including the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM (Trouble Shooting Manual) and IPC (Illustrated Part catalogue), where you will be given training by the tutors that will be assigned to support you. You will be responsible of the Engine & Nacelle perimeters for Airbus programs for AMM & TSM in the first place

This team main challenge is to ensure that the maintenance manuals reflects the design changes and to understand the immediate impact of these changes on customers operations, with the objective to provide customized documentation in accordance with aircraft configuration.

More globally, Airbus Customer Services, Technical Documentation is in charge of delivering the maintenance manuals to the customer which is a critical component for the aircraft (A/C) delivery.

Our Operational Unit develops, delivers and supports aircraft maintenance documentation directly used by the customers (airlines, MRO Maintenance Repair Operations, lessors).

It will enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations all along its life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations.

To achieve this, we are continuously interfacing - both externally and internally - with our suppliers. This interaction starts at the beginning of A/C development and continue along the A/C evolution. Our main objective is to aim for documentation completeness at the A/C delivery for that a transversal project is ongoing.

Your challenges:

• Manage all the authoring activities related to the AMM and TSM for the propulsion systems, guaranteeing on-time delivery;

• Analysis of Airbus Design Office Inputs (drawings & design modifications...) to define the impact on the maintenance manuals delivered to the airlines;

• Manage the Engine and Nacelle manufacturers&39; source document: planning, technical verification and incorporation;

• Monitoring and steering of subcontracted maintenance authoring activities;

• Organizing and chairing of regular review meetings with Engine and Nacelle manufacturers and local subcontractors, managing workload and priorities;

• Control and challenge our subcontractors and suppliers performances;

• Accountability of the documentation content delivery (creation and updates) in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, approved schedules, quality standards and within budget objectives;

• Securing fulfilment of Safety rules, Quality process and Technical Documentation guidelines;

• Identify and escalate any risk related to priority, cost and quality;

• Ensuring Customer efficient support by answering daily customer queries and implementation of documentation changes when necessary;

• Being a key actor for the continuous improvement plan for Technical Documentation processes, documentation production activities, and IT Tools;

For this mission, you will have the opportunity to create an efficient link with Engineering and Suppliers and to work in close cooperation with numerous other interfaces: customer services departments, design offices, airlines, subcontractors…
