Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Quality Engineer Intern. In this role, you will support the Quality Department at the Lockheed Martin (RMS) site in Manassas, VA. Support the Quality Engineers and Quality Program Managers with Program specific tasks (drawing reviews, defect trending and analysis, etc.) Along with this, this role will help support the Product Quality team in floor audits, defect trending, work instruction/router reviews, and Production Process Verification preparation. Responsible for root cause and corrective action planning for manufacturing processes. The successful candidate who is driven and will take action to drive tasks to closure. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in an Industrial, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiar with Python programming language
- Strong work ethic focused on finding ways to be more efficient
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge in Data analytics (preferably Tableau)
- Knowledge of creating or reviewing drawings (mechanical and/or electrical)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
