This position will be the RCCA/ Customer facing Lead supporting the Operation Team within Supplier Quality Management Team.

• Perform as the subject matter expert on Root Cause & Corrective Action for the OPs Team. Providing root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action investigations & decisions during operation of the Corrective Action Board.
• Under minimal direction will utilize quality science methods to identify & control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments. Emphasis will be placed on validation of key process capability.
• Scope of responsibility also includes quality and cost data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations, variation management actions, supplier quality integration tasks, along with area improvement strategy and planning.
• Responsible and accountable for delivering effective methods and initiating improvements that will drive and improve overall quality performance reducing area defects and scrap, rework, repair cost.
• Will collaborate with various functions to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Will provide local customer interface. May guide or lead junior personnel as assigned.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• The position Interim Secret Clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in technical discipline (Engineering, Math, or Science) (Degree type exceptions may be made for candidates with significant experience in root cause & corrective action, or if the candidate is a Certified Quality Engineer CQE)
• Demonstrated experience in Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) tools & processes. 10-15 years’ experience in RCCA execution, preventative actions and measures of effectiveness.
• Background with experience in one or more of the following areas: quality engineering, quality assurance, quality inspection & quality auditing.
• Experience with AS9100, AS9102 & AS9103
• Experience with significant hands on, working knowledge of engineering design, manufacturing, and quality processes.
• Experience with reading and interpreting engineering requirements, specifications and apply their intent for evaluating acceptance of quality products.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication and presentations.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements and applicability.
• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
• Excellent teaming skills; must interface with all levels of management, technical experts, and floor level of personnel in a multi-organizational environment.
• Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE or CMQOE certification
• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals. Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
