Job Summary:
The RF Design Engineer Intern/Co-op will be responsible for the engineering support of an assigned product or project and using basic engineering principles to design and develop high reliability electronic subassemblies or circuits.
Essential Functions:
- Analysis of electrical circuits.
- Engineering tests and experimental testing to determine cause and remedy.
- Preparation of proposals for new products processes or special customer needs.
- Maintaining orderly records, test data, schematics and configuration controls during all phases of the engineering development process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- College student working towards completion of a Bachelor, Masters, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to assist in the design and development of advance, high reliability electronic circuits, subassemblies, or systems.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Coursework or experience in RF/Microwave design and theory is preferred.
- Experience maintaining orderly and accurate files/records.
- Demonstrated experience presenting complex concepts in a clear and concise manner using a variety of presentation tools and methods.
- Experience troubleshooting problems within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Solid decision-making skills.
- Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered.
