Description:You will be the Release Train Engineer for the F35 maintenance systems software development teams.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Release Train Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Quarterly release coordination, planning, and execution
- Coaching and facilitating scaled agile practices and Program Increment execution across all the teams as well as escalate impediments, manage risk, pursue improvements, and ensure delivery of value
- Helping the organization adapt scaled agile practices to the organizational needs as well as standardizing and documenting practices and processes.

Further Information About This Opportunity
This position is in Fort Worth, TX or Orlando, FL.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field
- Agile software development leveraging Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar methodologies hands-on and demonstrable experience
- Software development or related field, including scrum master experience
- Leadership and communication skills - candidate will communicate regularly with leadership and teams through coaching, mentoring, and resolving conflicts
- Business acumen experience - understanding of common business rhythm that drives execution including planning, estimating, finance, test, and delivery.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with engineering metrics - deriving, interpreting, and forecasting to bring value to the team.
- Atlassian tool suite - Confluence/Jira
- SixSigma process improvement
- Cost Account Management (CAM) - project/team level finance
- Experience with F35 maintenance systems or comparable

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
