Description:You will be a Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability (RMT) Engineer for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Programs. Our team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and testability of these critical missile systems throughout their lifecycle, from development to sustainment.
What You Will Be Doing
As a RMT Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the JASSM and LRASM Programs in all aspects of reliability, maintainability, and testability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence design, develop and execute test plans, and analyze data to ensure the systems meet performance requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing reliability analyses, including allocations, predictions, FMECAs, and BIT architecture development
• Executing reliability test activities, such as HALT, accelerated aging, and HASS development
• Developing and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts
• Interfacing with multidisciplinary teams to influence design for reliability, maintainability, and testability
• Participating in design activities, technical interchange meetings, program reviews, and supplier support
• Reviewing specifications, drawings, and engineering change proposals
• Supporting design reviews, test activities, and failure investigations as required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Strong technical background with Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering or engineering Technology fields, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Knowledge of Reliability Engineering design practices.
• Knowledge of Supportability Engineering practices.
• Prior experience in one or more area of reliability
• FRACAS Analysis process and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
• Reliability Prediction Analysis using Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS)/Relex or like Software.
• Reliability FMECA Process/Analysis including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics.
• BIT Development and BIT Effectivity Analysis
• Reliability Testing (HALT, Accelerated Aging, Accelerated Life Testing, Highly Accelerated Stress Screening, etc)
• Strong Computer Skills including MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience collaborating with and working in conjunction with other functions and engineering groups to achieve desirable results.
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret Clearance with Investigation in past 5 years.
• Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
• Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers, management, and customers
• System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing.
• Experience using Windchill Risk and Reliability.
• Experience in Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT), Accelerated Aging, and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) testing development and execution.
• Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
• Experience with Missile Systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
