What are your contributions to the team?
• Supervise, empower, and develop a team of salaried engineers and technicians.
• Manage priorities and handle escalations.
• Work closely with Production, Methods, Quality and Flight Operations leaders as well as other Engineering groups to resolve issues rapidly and effectively during completion activities, ground runs, flight testing and delivery to end customer.
• Ensure first time right quality and high productivity levels.
• Drive continuous improvement through the Bombardier Operational Excellence system.
• Provide visibility on execution, issues, and escalations, as needed.
How to thrive in this role?
• You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree and/or a relevant technical degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in aerospace.
• You have experience with aircraft structures, system installation, interior completions and/or manufacturing operations.
• You are knowledgeable in nonconformity management and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• You have experience supervising or leading a team.
• You are a positive leader that cares about his team and the success of the program.
• You are a team player with a can-do attitude.
• You thrive on challenges and enjoy fast paced environments.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and are proactive.
• You have good oral and written communication skills in French and in English.
