As an experienced Semiconductor Manufacturing Diffusion Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in the semiconductor manufacturing team, overseeing complex projects and guiding the development of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies, focused primarily on thermal related processes including diffusion, oxidation, and CVD processes used in the manufacture of semiconductors and other silicon-based sensors. Your expertise and strategic vision will be instrumental in achieving Honeywells manufacturing technology goals.
You will report directly to our Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and youll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and improvement of semiconductor thermal oxidations, LPCVD, APCVD, and other thermal manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize manufacturing operations, and implement best practices. Your work will not only advance our business but also create solutions that address some of the worlds most pressing challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and optimize thermal oxidations and CVD processes for semiconductor and related silicon based sensor manufacturing processes, including APCVD, LPCVD, and both wet and dry thermal oxidation deposition techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards as well as regulatory requirements Monitor and react to various machine and process SPC charts
• Troubleshoot thermal processes and machine variability/process drift
• Troubleshoot and offer technical solutions to complex manufacturing issues
• Generate detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

"The annual base salary range for this position is $87,200 - $109,000. Please note that this salary information serves as ageneral guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well asmarket and business considerations."
YOU MUST HAVE •Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with thermal processing for semiconductor manufacturing or related fields
• Proficiency in thermal processing techniques, processes, and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• USG Secret security clearance in good standing, or US Citizenship and no known barriers to achieve a USG Secret security clearance [non-citizens are ineligible for clearance]
WE VALUE
• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
• Experience with implant or other semiconductor fabrication techniques
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Microsoft Office suite capability
