PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Senior Advanced Systems Engineer for a key project in the avionics domain. If you have expertise in systems modeling and are passionate about advancing model-based systems engineering (MBSE), this is the opportunity for you! As part of a leading-edge team, youll play a pivotal role in developing SysML modeling artifacts.
Role Overview:
In this exciting role, youll be responsible for leading the systems modeling effort in the avionics domain using Dassault Cameo Enterprise Architect. You will guide and mentor systems engineers with limited modeling experience, ensuring the development of complete SysML modeling artifacts. Additionally, youll define and implement systems modeling guidelines and custom profiles.Your efforts will directly influence the direction of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices at Honeywell and help set the stage for future requirements within both governmental and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead systems modeling initiatives for avionics projects using Dassault Cameo Enterprise Architect.
Develop and mentor engineers with limited modeling experience in creating SysML artifacts.
Define and implement systems modeling guidelines, processes, and custom profiles.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems models with engineering designs.
Provide expertise on best practices in systems modeling and modeling software usage.
Play a pivotal role in advancing Honeywell’s modeling capabilities as MBSE becomes a future requirement.

What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required).
5+ years of experience in systems modeling within the avionics or aerospace domain.
Hands-on experience with Dassault Cameo Enterprise Architect.
Strong understanding of SysML and model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
Proven ability to guide and mentor engineers with limited modeling experience.
Solid background in defining and implementing systems modeling guidelines and custom profiles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in implementing MBSE practices across large-scale projects.
Familiarity with Honeywell’s systems and practices.
Advanced knowledge in avionics systems and their integration into modeling efforts.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
