Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
• 7+ years of relevant experience gained within an engineering discipline, ideally within an aerospace environment and in multi-disciplinary engineering project teams (Design/CM, EWIS, Analysis, M&P, Manufacturing/ Industrialization).
• 3+ years’ experience on aerospace static components
• Previously held (internal) or capable of providing technical approval authority (i.e. recognized as having appropriate technical seniority for Design, Analysis, etc…).
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR regulations and/or program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in (Aerospace) Engineering or equivalent working and thinking Level gained through experience.
• Having worked in multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams in an international setting.
• Experience with developing and coaching people.
• Ability to mentor and coach Engineers in the Delivery of their specific Task and supporting their professional Growth.
• Experience with new product development and aftermarket support
• Able to act under own initiative in relation to the assigned tasks within defined functional procedures / governance.
• The ability to have technical discussions with customers and suppliers as require
• Able to analyze and interpret customer requirements.
• Relationship building at Levels up to and including senior management level.
• Able to work with cross-functional Teams that will typically include (in addition to the Design Engineering Team) Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Commercial. Procurement, Quality and Suppliers.
• Has excellent judgement in considering when escalation is appropriate. Skilled user in Microsoft Office.
• Must possess a high level of engineering functional knowledge and experience preferably across multiple disciplines in order to successfully manage the technical delivery team.
• Must possess a high level of problem-solving skills in both technical and program management disciplines to successfully manage the technical activities on a project to help achieve the overall business objectives of the program.
• Strong minded, convincing and committed, focused on delivery, must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to clearly present data, reports and presentations to facilitate the decision-making process at all levels of the business.
