What YOU will do
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
- Provide analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
- Analyze and make recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.
- Utilize UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in product development.
- Manage processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
- Review process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related role in the manufacturing industry. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related role in the manufacturing industry would be acceptable.
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience using Quality tools, including Pareto analysis, cause/effect diagrams, and process mapping.
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience in the Configuration Change, Material and Engineering Review Board processes.
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Must possess at 2 years of experience in the use of Pareto Analysis, cause/effect diagrams, process mapping.
- Must possess at 2 years of experience in PFMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and Process Capability Assessments.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work onsite. This
includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range is $85,000.00 to $179,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
