Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for specific technical activity and completion of assigned tasks on time and budget related to the facility including design, construction, and maintenance projects.
- May lead others on a technical activity or project.
- Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments.
- Champion projects of small to large size and complexity
- Lead and direct the work of others as assigned or needed.
- Regular reporting of progress and status
- Complete assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements.
- Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost, schedule, and quality as key design variables.
- Provide budget, cost and schedule input for assignments.
- Troubleshoot Facility equipment.
- Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings.
- Lead less-experienced staff.
Basic Qualifications and Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance as needed, which requires US citizenship.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, HVAC systems, and Air Handling Systems.
- 2-4 years direct experience in Facilities Engineering and application domain knowledge.
- Familiarity with construction codes and government regulations.
- Experience working with proposals and budgeting for facility maintenance.
- Semiconductor experience a plus.
- AutoCAD experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision of others.
