Responsibilities
The Position:
· Be part of the foundational community to lead and mentor a team of 10-15 software engineers in embedded platform development.
· Drive Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD implementation
· Oversee Android and Linux BSP porting projects
· Manage department budget and resource allocation
· Develop and implement strategies for team growth and organizational improvement
· Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
· Develop and implement strategic plans to meet organizational goals and objectives
The salary or hourly wage range of $131,000 – $220,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Masters degree preferred
· 8+ years of software development experience, with at least three years in a leadership role
· Proven experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
· Strong background in embedded systems development and Android/Linux BSP porting
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects
· Demonstrated ability in budgeting and resource management
· Experience with JIRA, Git, and Jenkins
· Familiarity with hardware-software integration
· Knowledge of IoT and connected device ecosystems
· Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
· Track record of successful product launches and innovations
· Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and deliver complex business and technical presentations.
· Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
· Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite of software applications

For operational positions that are expected to work on holidays, we provide additional compensation for hours worked.
