Position Summary
The Digital and IT Technical Specialist (Level 2) is a key influencer in the strategic vision and roadmap implementation for the technology area(s) and Business Functions they support. This position works directly with project leaders, technical or business analysts on the planning, execution, and support of information technology solutions. The Digital and IT Technical Specialist leverages knowledge in several technical or business disciplines to collaborate with peers in deploying highly secure and resilient information technology solutions. This position works with the Enterprise Manager/ Director and Division/Country IT Manager to help set departmental goals and technology targets.
We are currently seeking an Enterprise Messaging Technical Specialist within our Modern Workplace – Messaging team who will have direct responsibility for managing our messaging and email compliance services, for a global enterprise.
This role will be responsible for supporting our hybrid Exchange environment, Domino Notes, SMTP platform, Email Protection (Proofpoint) and information protection technologies.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Manage large enterprise hybrid Exchange environment.
Manage email filtering infrastructure / environment (Proofpoint).
Design / architect overall design & structure of email systems.
Manage Office 365 security & compliance.
Manage enterprise archiving / retention policies.
Work in proprietary ticketing tool for Level 3 / 4 support and ensure SLA’s are met.
Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems
Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management and change management
Proactively anticipates changes, makes recommendations to leadership, leads and implements change within team
Producing Cost Benefit Analysis and recommending solution to improve business process(es)
Responsible & Accountable for team members implementing Parker Values & building a trust-based relationship throughout the team
Completes root cause analysis of issues and decisively leads problem resolution
Ability to adapt written/verbal/presentation material and style, depending on audience and environment
Effectively communicates technical issues to project team members and management
Available to provide after-hours technical support as needed
Ability to travel as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:

4-year University / College Degree and significant technical / business certifications
Eight or more years’ experience proficiency with Messaging in a large enterprise.
Strong background with Exchange On-Prem / Exchange Online / Active Directory.
Strong understanding of SMTP protocols and Mail Routing.
Strong experience managing mail filter solution, preferably Proofpoint.
Experience with Lotus Notes general administration and mail routing is preferred
Experience with SaaS mail routing providers.
Experience in leading an email migration (on-prem & online).
Experience working with Office 365 and EMS solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Exchange PowerShell scripting.
Experience working with a managed service providers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
