EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms. Job Responsibilities
- Apply advanced engineering principles to perform highly complex functions in the design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations.
- Plan, conduct, and/or technically direct projects or major phases of projects.
- Review the project progress, evaluate, and communicate results to all stakeholders.
- Analyze highly complex technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Responsibilities are highly complex in scope where the analysis of situations or data involves intangibles; work may impact the design/success of products/services.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
- Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans.
- Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant disciplines with 10+ years progressively complex engineering experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. Advanced degree is desired.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD clearance as needed, which requires US Citizenship.
- Experience in microelectronics fabrication, MEMS fabrication, microelectronics yield enhancement and failure analysis. Some microelectronics test experience a plus.
- Infrared or imaging detectors experience desired.
- Specialties may include production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, and robotics.
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
