What You Will Do:
The Senior Quality Engineer will conducts activities to modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols, evaluate technical data and work instructions in support of Engineering and Operations.
Identifies and manages risk utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions; conducts investigations, provides analysis and develops recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities
Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts
Analyzes quality activities to identify systemic issues and enable development of specific quality initiative improvements and strategies
Develops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation
Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action for internally produced products & processes
Promote the Quality culture in the business, through compliance to the QMS and adherence to Quality Cardinal Rules
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline and 5 or more years experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, supply chain or quality environment or a Masters degree and 3 or more years experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, supply chain or quality environment
Experience with Microsoft Excel
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working in an aerospace afterspanet production environment
Demonstrated knowledge in SAP, Continuous Improvement and/or Data Analysis
CORE, Lean, Six-Sigma knowledge
Understanding of AS9100/AS9110 standards
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Experience leading product/process non-conformance investigations (i.e., DIVEs)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
