Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Site Reliability Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

Building and supporting a reliable application suite for the environment to meet the development and maintenance requirements of systems and platforms.
Work with other development teams to evaluate the health, stability, and reliability of applications.
Utilize monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and other Delta management tools to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of applications and services.
Responsible for consistently working to improve and implement automation of applications tasks.
Provide technical support for systems and platforms according to application Service Level Agreements. Responsible for designing and developing resiliency in the application code, troubleshooting incidents, engaging with squads to address failure patterns, and participating in incident management.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 5 years of experience in IT field or related. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 2 years of experience in IT field or related.Must have work experience in:

Designing and developing software and mobile applications using Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, and MVC framework;
Using J2EE technologies to develop web applications and rendering technical expertise in software development life cycle;
Following Continuous Integration & Development and DevOps practices;
Using enterprise logging infrastructure as part of data analytics and security;
Implementing large-scale enterprise data lakes; and
Using security information and event management to collect security data across organization.
