You will be a Software Engineer for the F22 program. Our team is responsible for software development and maintenance for Flight Dynamics and Handling Qualities Simulators.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Software Engineer for F22 Lab simulation software engineer you will impact everything from piloted evaluations of control law changes to OFP certification. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to integrate software models into F22 Handling Qualities Simulator, maintain and update F22 Flight Dynamics Simulator for hardware in the loop testing and checkout, and development and integration of F22 cockpit display testing software.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience with C++
• Final secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
• Experience with real-time software development & integration
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience performing software integration in hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation environments
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as VersionOne and Jira
• An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation
• F22 program access
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
