Description: You will be the Software Engineer Senior for the F-35 Common Reprogramming Tool (CRT). The F-35 CRT is used by our F-35 customer Reprogramming Labs to generate the Mission Data File (MDF) sets, which are pivotal to the execution of successful missions and overall operation of the F-35. CRT is a next generation toolset tool set that will service the F-35 fighter for years to come. Our frequent interactions with our F-35 customers provide us with ongoing feedback from subject matter experts and end users.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer Senior you have experience in object-oriented software development and a broad range of software technical skills. Your responsibilities will include:
• Primary stakeholder of the User Interface (UI) on CRT
• Perform software development in a DevOps environment to build the modernized CRT tool in a Java-based microservices architecture with web-based interfaces for complex application execution and data analysis

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance with an Interim Secret to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Object-oriented software development in React.js, JavaScript, CSS or Typescript
- Software Design Processes (User interface Mockups, Sequence Diagrams, Interface Control Docs, wire framing, API design, etc...)
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with the software development lifecycle
Experience with software development in a microservice-based or service-oriented architecture
Experience building applications using CI/CD Tools (Jenkins/Gitlab, JIRA, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Fortify, ESLint)
Experience with API interfaces, including REST API
Experience developing object-oriented software in Java
Experience with build tools such as Gradle
Experience developing SQL queries
Experience designing SQL databases
Experience developing Software Projects on Kubernetes/OpenShift
Experience with the Spring framework
Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka

Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner on an Agile software development team

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
