BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline and 3+ years of software development experience; OR 5+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
- Experience with writing production code in C++
- Experience with modern continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Experience working in a Linux environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, or related field
- Experience with microcontrollers or FPGA computing hardware
- Real-time embedded software development experience
- Experience with industrial automation systems and robotics
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Software Engineer/Level I: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00/per year
Software Engineer/Level II: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
