Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Associate for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program, and Customer requirements.



What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Developing, modifying, and applying quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products
• Developing overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives
• Designing and implementing software development and maintenance processes
• Defining audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes
• Designing, specifying, and conducting test methods for software inspection, verification, and validation
• Evaluating and analyzing software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
• Ensuring measures meet acceptable reliability standards
• Performing software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements
• Reviewing requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies; performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability

Travel may be required to support PAC-3 program activities.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM or Technical Engineering degree at the bachelors level or higher preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

• Ability to travel

• Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of Agile tools and processes

• Ability to organize and track multiple activities and
prioritize task based on importance

• Ability to review, interpret and apply Drawings and
Specifications to determine compliance with requirements

• Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
