RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the companys goals and objectives
- Drive innovation and guide the development of advanced systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to team members
- Identify and mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track

MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management
- C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, VBA, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Provides guidance and coaching to direct and/or indirect reports
