This pivotal role involves spearheading Quality Engineering processes and projects, focusing on Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical devices. As an individual contributor, you will set and achieve objectives that significantly influence our organizational goals.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols. Please note that this position requires on-site support and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements. What You Will Do:
- Deliver top-tier support specializing in Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical devices, serving as a subject matter expert across various programs within the business unit.
- Offer technical assistance to both internal and external customers, addressing Escapes, Quality Management System Procedures, Regulations, and Compliance-related queries with a focus on EEE components.
- Understand and implement customer quality requirements, ensuring thorough flow down and execution of these requirements across internal production sites and major subcontractors.
- Lead the execution of escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning and implementation, adhering to current standard work.
- Enhance processes to develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.
- Oversee and resolve nonconforming material and process noncompliance events.
- Provide detailed analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to ensure product and process reliability and conformance.
- Ensure projects and process control documentation comply with requirements, objectives, and contracts.
- Assist with supplier quality activities, warranty processes, part purges, and MRB activities.
- Develop and implement proactive quality initiative strategies.
- Oversee both Program and Product Quality Engineering responsibilities.
- This position offers relocation eligibility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience with a focus on EEE components or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience with a focus on EEE components or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with NASA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per NASA’s regulation SUBPART 1835.5 Drug- Free Workforce

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
