Roles and Responsibilities
- Ownership of overall technical relationship for assigned aircraft engine fleets.
- Develop and maintain relationship at all levels of assigned customer and across the GE organization, able to influence key stakeholders to implement key reliability improvements or deliver on key special programs or projects.
- Support of installed engine base, including activities such as customer & fleet issue resolution, service bulletin implementation, fleet monitoring (diagnostics).
- Own of fleets reliability and on wing performance (e.g. significant events/UERs/D&Cs.)
- Influence customers to implement key reliability improvements, address customer notifications per recommended timing, and support other technical inquiries.
- Manage critical items, collaborate with customer to lead other special programs (e.g. water/foam wash, derate optimization, field upgrades, etc.).
- Internal & external tech reviews & tech review prep, interface and influence the broader GE C&PSO organization, including senior leadership
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information, developing influencing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Expected to take on additional responsibilities across the global CFS team (such as Cluster leader, TPP process leader, LEAN focal, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Engineering or technical field support).
- 10+ years experience in Airline operations, Engineering, Aviation propulsion, or a related field.

The base pay range for this position is $119,900 - $200,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 6, 2024 .
