The Battlefield Radar PMO is seeking an Production REA to support Integration and Test of the Sentinel Radar System.  The Sentinel REA will be responsible for day to day technical execution, tracking, and reporting for the BFR PMO test operations at the Forest, MS. Manufacturing site.  These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the test execution relative to specification compliance, failure tracking/resolution, interfacing with Sentinel internal and external suppliers, data trend analysis, test optimization, and continuous improvement.  The Sentinel REA will work closely with BFR Program Manager and other Sentinel entities to ensure flawless technical execution.  The Sentinel REA will use metrics and data analysis tools to identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensure that the product is meeting company’s commitments and achieving customer satisfaction.  

This role will require partnering with the Customer and internal functional organizations; such as engineering, quality control, procurement, manufacturing, and administrative functions to develop a holistic approach to achieve the required performance. This role is expected to champion and enact production and test-related changes/enhancements from component-level, to LRU-level, and through system-level domains.


What You Will Do
Accountability for technical execution of Sentinel production test operations

Technical performance analysis relative to specifications

Test optimization and continuous improvement champion

Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts for test failures

Driving test failures upstream to the earliest feasible and most cost-effective point in the flow

Ensuring Configuration Control of Sentinel production artifacts (hardware, test procedures, test software/tools, etc.)

Providing reports and status as required to program management, engineering, and the Customer

Providing technical leadership and collaborating with both internal and external resources

Interfacing with program management and the Customer on technical issues


Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.

Experience in Electrical, RF, or other related field

Experience with radar systems testing

Leadership experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer

Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional areas such as Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.

Leadership skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams to foster improvements in established processes across all program areas to ensure predictable, quick reaction results.

Experience employing and executing the RCCA process to correct technical issues

10+ years of relevant professional work experience across a wide spectrum of domains; engineering, manufacturing, statistics, quality control, etc.

Demonstrated concise communication skills, written and verbal

Proactive mentality to aggressively engage on issues and expedite resolution

8+ years of demonstrated technical experience in Electrical, RF, or other related field

3+ years of demonstrated experience with Ground Based Radar system testing.

High level of proficiency with MS Office and Project tools, comprehension of Manufacturing Requirements, Planning, CMES, and PRISM

Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Math, Science or related discipline  

Ability to travel up to 20 to RTX, vendor, and/or customer sites

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
