You will be shaping and guiding software architectures and solutions for emerging technologies through synthesizing your skills, expertise, best industry practices and spanet research and working alongside a multi-functional technical team to see these products through definition, design, development, test, and demonstration.
Youll collaborate with other software engineers and internal teams to ensure the successful completion of tasks within the software development pipeline including: coding, debugging, and testing & troubleshooting at both the software and system levels. You will own all technical aspects of design and development of new software products needed to support JTF Sierra objectives and technology suites.

Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide oversight and guidance to software development team members, ensuring best practices are used and solutions are in line with architectural standards
- Software System Design: Oversee the design and development of complex software systems, subsystems, and products, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
- Architecture Planning: Develop and maintain architectural models in collaboration with Systems Engineering, to include software components, subcomponents, interfaces, and data flows
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes that will power future capabilities and product development
- Collaboration: Work closely with all stakeholders, to include project leadership, multi-functional engineering team members, internal technical teams, and customers/partners to build and demonstrate technical capabilities in line with JTF Sierras goals
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 16 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Advanced capabilities using Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Thorough Understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash
- Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
- Proficient with data structures

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $189,761.74 - $260,922.39. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
